A prize distribution ceremony was held in Amy Rustomjee Hall of WGU on 2nd August, 2014, when 23 children received cash prizes for their creditable performance in the Annual exams held by their schools. The chief guest invited to grace the occasion was the donor of the prizes, Prof. Sabita Chuganee, who gave an interesting and informative talk on the importance of hard work and commitment to acquire an education and moral values, which were the main requirements to get gainful employment in the future, ensuring self confidence and self respect from the society. The Chairman in her welcome address appreciated the efforts of the 55 parents in encouraging their children to give their best and thereby achieve good results. The function was well attended and the performance given by the children e.g., dances, poetry recitations were duly appreciated by the audience. |
