The Women Graduates Union is an NGO which has completed a hundred years of commendable service in the empowerment and enhancement of the status of women in society.
We invite applications for scholarships from girls/ladies undertaking higher studies in Mumbai, in Advanced Research, Medicine (including Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Dentistry, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy), Engineering (M. Tech., B.Tech, IT, Computers, Electronic, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Bio.Tech., Textile Techology), Professional Courses in Management, Accounting, Law, Architecture and degree courses in Science, Commerce, Arts. We also offer scholarships for Diploma and career oriented courses such as Nursing, Teacher’s Training, Nursery Creche Training, Library Science, Travel and Tourism, Lab Technician, Interior Decoration, Textile Designing.
Application Forms may be collected in person from the WGU Office, Women Graduates Union Road, Opp. Colaba Bus Station, Mumbai 400005 between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, or be downloaded from our website www.womengraduatesunion.org.
Last date for submission of Forms: August 31, 2018
The following should be attached along with the form at the time of submission:
(a) Parents’/Guardian’s Certificate of Income duly certified by employer
(b) Photo copies of mark sheets of previous exams
(c) Research Students to give details of their Guides and submit their status report
(d) Bonafide Certificate from the Institute where admission is taken should be attached.
(e) Postal self-addressed envelope of Rs.5/-
(f) Rs. 30/- must be sent along with the form if the form is downloaded from our website.
